They said that she was fine but they were wrong
That bitter night she heard the fatal call
She went above to celestial throngs
While to the deepest depths my heart did fall
What happened to the years? Where did they go?
So many past but yet it felt so few
While all these thoughts fall down like winter snow
How many of my regrets are that true?
My dearly beloved it gives me sorrow
Thy wise face and stature I will not see
Thy voice my ears can never again know
Oh how I wish that you were here with me
My dearly beloved I shall never see
But memories sweet keep you close to me
